1. Agreement
These Terms & Conditions (the "Terms") form a binding agreement between you ("Climber", "you") and GoClimb Sports LLC, trade licence no. 1439984, operator of the indoor bouldering facility branded "GoClimb" ("GoClimb", "we", "us", "our") located at 01-09 Junction Mall, Dubai Investment Park 1, Dubai, United Arab Emirates (the "Facility").
By purchasing a Pass or Membership, booking a Class, registering an Account, signing the Waiver, or otherwise using our paid services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms, our Privacy Policy, our on-site Waiver, and the House Rules. If you do not accept them, you must not use the Facility or our services.
Visitors who enter the Facility without purchasing a service (for example, accompanying adults, prospective customers on a tour, or members of the public) are bound by the House Rules and the notices posted at the entrance, including those relating to CCTV and photography. The contractual terms below apply only to those who purchase, book, register an Account, or sign the Waiver.
Where you purchase or book on behalf of a minor or another person, you confirm that you have authority to bind that person and that they will be made aware of and comply with these Terms.

All sales of Passes, Memberships, Classes, gear rental, and retail items are final and non-refundable, except where a refund is required by mandatory UAE consumer protection law (Federal Law No. 15 of 2020 on Consumer Protection and its Implementing Regulations) or as expressly provided below.
5.1 Class cancellations by you
Class bookings may be rescheduled or cancelled at no charge up to forty-eight (48) hours before the session start time. Cancellations made inside this window, and no-shows, forfeit the booking with no refund or credit. For multi-week courses (e.g. Foundation, Progress), missed sessions cannot be made up unless an equivalent session is available within the course term, at our discretion.
5.2 Class or Facility cancellations by us
If GoClimb cancels a Class (for instructor unavailability, insufficient bookings, equipment failure, or any other reason), affected Climbers will be offered a rescheduled session, an equivalent credit, or, where neither is practical, a refund of the amount paid for that Class.
5.3 Short closures
Membership terms are not extended for short Facility closures of up to three (3) consecutive operating days (e.g. public holidays, maintenance, route-setting days, private events). For closures exceeding three (3) consecutive operating days that are not caused by Force Majeure, we may, at our sole discretion, compensate active Memberships by an equivalent extension or other reasonable accommodation.
6. Conduct & House Rules
All Climbers must follow the House Rules posted in the Facility and any reasonable instruction given by GoClimb staff. We reserve the right to refuse entry, end a session, suspend or terminate an Account or Membership, and remove a Climber from the Facility for behaviour that endangers Climbers or staff, damages the Facility, breaches these Terms or the House Rules, or constitutes harassment, discrimination, or unlawful conduct.
- 6.1 Climb only when the landing zone below and around you is clear. Do not start a problem that crosses, sits directly above, or sits directly below another active climber.
- 6.2 Do not stand, sit, lie, or rest in the fall zone beneath or beside an active climber. Clear the mat promptly after topping out or falling.
- 6.3 Downclimb where possible and do not jump from the top of a problem when others are below or nearby. Topping out the walls is not permitted; finish each problem by matching the designated finish hold and then downclimb.
- 6.4 Do not climb or supervise minors while under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any substance that impairs judgement or coordination.
- 6.5 Do not enter the Facility if you are visibly unwell or have a contagious illness.
- 6.6 Climbing shoes only on the climbing mats; outdoor footwear, indoor footwear, socks, and bare feet are not permitted on the mats.
- 6.7 Remove rings, watches, and loose jewellery before climbing (risk of finger injury and snagging).
- 6.8 Personal items, food, and drinks (other than sealed water bottles) are not permitted on the mats.
- 6.9 Brush off any chalk tick marks you have placed before leaving the problem.
- 6.10 Do not modify, mark, or remove holds, volumes, or route tape. Report loose, spinning, or broken holds to staff immediately.
- 6.11 Children must be actively supervised at all times outside scheduled programs.
- 6.12 Pets and animals are not permitted on the premises, except registered service animals.
- 6.13 No smoking, vaping, or shisha anywhere on the premises, including outdoor terraces.
- 6.14 Photography and filming for personal use are permitted, provided you do not film other Climbers without their consent. Commercial photography, filming, influencer content, and live-streaming require prior written consent from GoClimb.
- 6.15 Respect other Climbers: do not occupy a problem you are not actively climbing, do not give unsolicited coaching ("spraying beta"), and follow staff instructions during peak hours.
Termination of a Membership for serious or repeated breach of these Terms is without refund. For a first or minor breach, we will typically issue a warning before suspension.
7. Health, Fitness & Medical
You confirm that you are physically and medically fit to participate in bouldering and that you will not climb if you are unwell, injured, intoxicated, or otherwise unfit to do so safely. You must disclose any medical condition, injury, pregnancy, or medication that may affect your ability to climb safely, both to GoClimb and to the instructor of any Class you attend.
You consent to GoClimb staff administering basic first aid in the event of injury or illness on the premises and, where in our reasonable judgement it is necessary, to our calling for emergency medical assistance at your cost. Any cost of medical treatment, transport, or hospitalisation is your responsibility, and we strongly recommend you maintain personal health and accident insurance covering recreational sports.
We may, at our reasonable discretion, request medical clearance before permitting you to climb or to participate in a particular Class.
8. Assumption of Risk & Liability
Bouldering is an inherently dangerous activity. Risks include, without limitation: falls from height onto matted or hard surfaces; sprains, strains, fractures, dislocations, lacerations, and concussion; collisions with other Climbers, walls, holds, or volumes; equipment failure including spinning, breaking, or loose holds and worn mats; injuries from improper technique or fatigue; and, in rare cases, serious injury or death. You acknowledge and voluntarily accept these and all other risks inherent in bouldering and in use of the Facility.
GoClimb maintains public liability insurance covering the ordinary risks of bouldering at the Facility. To the maximum extent permitted by UAE law, you agree that GoClimb, its owners, directors, employees, instructors, contractors, and agents shall not be liable for any injury, illness, loss, or damage arising out of or in connection with your use of the Facility, participation in Classes, or use of equipment, except to the extent caused by our gross negligence or wilful misconduct.
Subject to the paragraph above, our total aggregate liability to you arising in connection with these Terms shall not exceed the greater of (a) the total amount you have paid to GoClimb in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, and (b) AED 10,000. We shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or loss-of-profit damages. This cap does not apply to liability for death or personal injury, or to any other liability, that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded under UAE law.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under mandatory UAE law, including consumer protection and product liability law and liability for death or personal injury where it cannot be lawfully excluded.
9. Personal Property
Any storage provided at the Facility is unsecured and intended for short-term use during your session only. We strongly recommend that you keep valuables on your person or leave them at home.
You are solely responsible for your personal items at all times. GoClimb is not responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to personal items brought into or left at the Facility, except to the extent caused by our gross negligence or wilful misconduct.
Items left on the premises overnight may be removed by staff. Lost-property items will be held for a minimum of thirty (30) days in accordance with our Lost & Found Policy, after which we may donate, recycle, or dispose of them at our discretion. Perishable items and items of no apparent value may be disposed of immediately.
10. Gear Rental
Rental shoes, chalk, and other gear remain the property of GoClimb and must remain inside the Facility at all times. Rental items may not be removed from the premises under any circumstances. You must return rental items at the end of your session in the same condition as received, fair wear and tear excepted. You are liable for the replacement cost of items that are lost, stolen, removed from the Facility, or damaged beyond ordinary wear while in your possession.
11. Personal Data, CCTV & Marketing
We collect and process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data and its implementing regulations.
The Facility is monitored by CCTV for safety, security, and incident-investigation purposes. By entering the Facility, you consent to such recording. Recordings are retained and accessed in line with our Privacy Policy.
GoClimb staff and authorised photographers may take photographs and video within the Facility, including during Classes, events, and community sessions, and may use these for marketing, social media, and editorial purposes. If you do not wish to appear in such content, please notify reception in writing and we will use reasonable efforts to avoid identifying you in future material; this does not require us to remove or alter material already published.
By providing your contact details you agree that we may send transactional communications relating to your bookings and Membership. We may also send marketing communications where you have opted in; you may unsubscribe at any time without affecting your right to receive transactional communications.
12. Intellectual Property
The GoClimb name, logo, route-setting designs, website content, photography, written materials, and brand assets are the property of GoClimb or its licensors. You may not reproduce, redistribute, modify, or use them for commercial purposes without our prior written consent. Personal, non-commercial use (such as sharing your own climbing videos on social media) is permitted provided it does not imply endorsement by GoClimb and complies with section 6.
13. Force Majeure
We are not in breach of these Terms or liable for any delay or failure to perform our obligations to the extent caused by a Force Majeure event. Where a Force Majeure event causes the Facility to close for more than seven (7) consecutive operating days, we will, at our discretion, extend the term of affected Memberships by the duration of the closure or offer an equivalent credit. Force Majeure does not give rise to a right to a cash refund except as required by mandatory UAE law.
14. Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or terminate your Account, Membership, or right to use the Facility (a) for material or repeated breach of these Terms, the Waiver, or the House Rules; (b) where required by law or by mall management; or (c) on reasonable notice for legitimate operational reasons (such as permanent closure of the Facility).
Where we terminate under (a) above for breach, no refund is payable. Where we terminate under (b) above due to a circumstance specific to you (such as a regulatory order naming you), no refund is payable. Where we terminate under (c) above, or where a termination under (b) results from a circumstance external to you (such as a permanent shutdown of the Facility), we will refund the pro-rated unused portion of any prepaid Membership.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email to active Account holders at least fourteen (14) days before they take effect and posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Facility or your Membership after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not accept a material change, you may terminate your Membership and receive a refund of the pro-rated unused portion.
16. General
16.1 Entire agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Waiver, and House Rules, constitute the entire agreement between you and GoClimb in relation to your use of the Facility and supersede any prior arrangements.
16.2 Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remainder shall continue in full force.
16.3 No waiver
Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms is not a waiver of that or any other provision.
16.4 Assignment
You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms. We may assign these Terms to any successor in connection with a sale or restructuring of the business.
16.5 Language
These Terms are provided in English. An Arabic translation is available on request. In the event of any conflict between versions and to the extent required by applicable law, the Arabic version shall prevail.
17. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai.
We aim to resolve disputes informally and quickly. Before commencing legal proceedings, you agree to first raise any complaint in writing to info@goclimb.ae and to allow us thirty (30) days to respond and seek to resolve the matter in good faith.
Any dispute not resolved through this process shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Dubai, without prejudice to your statutory rights to lodge a complaint with the UAE Department of Economic Development or other competent consumer protection authority.
18. Contact
