UAE Bouldering Festival 2023

Between 25th and 26th February 2023, the first United Arab Emirates (UAE) bouldering festival was held at Tawiyan crag to introduce climbers to the first open area for bouldering.

More than 50 climbers of different skill levels came to boulder on the 104 routes spread across 34 blocs in the valley (wadi). In the evening, many of the climbers camped overnight and continued bouldering the next morning.
